| Some say Jan was born with a magical paint brush in her hand – one that allows her to erase skin problems and transform troubled skin in to beautiful skin. In reality, it took years of training, research, and dedication to develop her unique product line and treatment techniques that enable her to perform this “magic” on her patients’ skin. |

| What Makes Her Unique |
| After attending high school and college in Colorado, Jan became a licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Paramedical Esthetician, and State-Approved Instructor. Before long, she was introduced to a European skin-care specialist, who offered her a unique apprenticeship. This additional training included what has become Jan’s trademark — cold waxing or “face polishing,” a technique known by only a few in the United States. |

| The Search for the Ultimate Skin Care Line |
| Jan’s interest in the causes and treatments for acne led her to embark upon extensive acne research. With the help of several chemists around the country, she developed a unique and highly successful acne treatment that she put into practice with Com*plex Skin Fitness (CSF) clinics in 1985. |

| Jan invested a great deal of her personal time and money to develop the CSF skin-care line. These trademarked, therapeutic products have been found to dramatically improve the skin during adolescence, maturing, and aging. |

| Helping Patients Discover Beautiful Skin |
| In 1991, Jan operated her first CSF clinic in Lakewood, Colorado. Almost immediately, she was deluged with patients with severe skin problems, who had tried everything to improve their skin – homeopathic treatment, acupuncture, prescription drugs, even surgery – all without success. The dramatic improvements they experienced under Jan’s care are well documented in each patient’s chart, and are a testimony to the amazing results that have been experienced by hundreds of CSF patients. Soon, the clinic was offering a full line of skin-care services, including body scrubs, massage, customized make-up, and hair treatments. Jan’s long-term goal is, and has always been, to have patients not only look and feel their best at all times. |

| The financial success and emotional gratification that comes from owning and operating the clinic convinced Jan that tremendous opportunity existed for these services existed in the United States, and as a result, the Com*plex Skin Fitness system was formed in 1994, with operations commencing in 1995. |
