Postponement
CSPEMT complies with the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools rules and regulations regarding class postponement, which may impact the student’s rights for payment refunds. A written agreement between CSPEMT and the student is required for postponement of a class start date, regardless of whether the postponement is at the request of the student or mandated by CSPEMT.
The agreement will set forth a) whether the postponement is for the convenience of the school or student and b) a deadline for a new start date beyond which the class start date will not be further postponed. If the class does not commence, or the student does not attend class in accordance with CSPEMT’s attendance policy, by the new deadline set forth in the agreement, the student is entitled to the applicable refund of prepaid tuition and fees within 30 days of the new deadline.

Cancellation
CSPEMT and students have certain rights with respect to canceling the agreement to attend a course.
When cancellations are initiated by the student, he/she must request the cancellation prior to the class start date, in order to receive a full refund of any prepaid tuition and fees. Only written notification of cancellation will be accepted and must be received by CSPEMT or postmarked by the class start date. For any cancellation made by the student after he/she attends orientation or course classes, or receives any materials for the class, CSPEMT will retain $150 of any prepaid tuition and fees.
CSPEMT has the right to cancel a class during the course enrollment period for any reason, including but not limited to:
Termination of a course program
Insufficient enrollment
Non-availability of instructors or guest lecturers
Unforeseen events or circumstances
A full refund of prepaid tuition and fees paid by all students enrolled in the cancelled class will be made within 30 days of the class start date.
